Foundations of Learning
The Lovettsville School House utilizes one of the industry leading educational curriculums called, “The Creative Curriculum.” This curriculum is one of the best teaching tools for early learning because it focuses on the development of the whole child through nature and play. Our curriculum will also incorporate Spanish into our lesson plans.
The schoolhouse features two outdoor classrooms where children learn through play. Research has shown that outdoor learning can be very beneficial to children’s mental health and academic performance. Children are calmer and can focus better when learning in nature.
